Sixty years of Danish furniture manufacturing.

Tvilum was founded in 1965 in Fårvang, a small town in Jutland, Denmark. Six decades later we are one of Europe's largest manufacturers of ready-to-assemble furniture — and a long-term, owner-led company built to be a dependable partner programme after programme.

A tradition of good design, for the many.

In the 1950s and 60s Danish designers changed what the world expected from a home — furniture that was lighter, calmer and more honest, built around how people actually live. Tvilum was founded in the middle of that movement, and took its most radical idea seriously: that good design isn't finished until ordinary people can afford to live with it.

That conviction still shapes how we engineer furniture today — quiet proportions, honest materials, and ready-to-assemble construction that brings considered design to a global price point.
